Cloud-pruned olive trees and palms at height

Autumn and winter bring the pruning season. This video shows two very different jobs: the tall palms in a company yard, which need cleaning safely, and the cloud-pruned olive trees in a villa garden, which need keeping in shape.

Two techniques, the same care:

• Palms at height: working from an aerial work platform, removing dead fronds and cleaning the trunk, with the area below made safe.
• Cloud-pruned olive trees: finishing the canopy "clouds" with precise cuts, respecting the branch structure and the health of the tree.
• Surrounding hedges brought back into shape.
• Collection and disposal of all pruning waste.
