Villa with a pool in the countryside

A country villa, with the pool overlooking a large lawn and, all around, olive trees, pines and dry-stone walls. The request is the same as many families who mostly use the house in summer: a lawn that is always neat around the pool and the countryside kept clear, without tall grass drying out in the sun.

The work follows the rhythm of the season, with more frequent visits when it's hottest:

• Lawn mowing with a professional ride-on mower, right up to the edges of the pool and flower beds.
• Mulching tall grass in the countryside areas, along the dry-stone walls and under the pines, with a self-propelled flail mower.
• Finishing edges and paths, collecting the clippings and cleaning the stone surfaces.
• Irrigation checks, so the lawn holds up through the driest months.

A thick, green lawn around the pool and tidy countryside, ready to be enjoyed. As we often say: gardening doesn't take a holiday.
