Case study · Pruning

Tall pines pruned by tree climbing

Tall pines right next to houses and fences: we rope up into the tree and work piece by piece, safely.

01 · The request

Very tall pines, with heavy crowns and dead branches, just a few metres from a house, a fence and other trees that had to be saved. There was little space around them and the aerial platform couldn't get close: the job needed work at height without machinery, with no damage to anything below.

02 · The work

We used the tree climbing technique, which we are qualified for:

  • Rope ascent into the tree, with a harness and double anchorage.
  • Pruning and thinning of the crown, removing dead and dangerous branches.
  • Where necessary, controlled dismantling of the trunk one section at a time, lowering the pieces safely.
  • Full clean-up of the area at the end, with disposal of branches and trunks.
03 · The result

Trees made safe, the area left clean and no damage to the house, fences or nearby plants. Tree climbing lets us work even where machinery can't get in.
