Green space restoration
A garden left to its own devices for a few seasons, a company’s or hotel’s grounds that need to be brought back into use, a thin, yellowing lawn: Cesarino Giardini takes care of the clearing, recovery and restoration of green spaces, for private clients and businesses.
First we clear, then we work out what can be saved (trees, hedges, the existing lawn), and finally we bring the space back to a well-kept look, ready to be maintained over time.
A green space that has got out of hand
Brambles and weeds covering flower beds and paths, hedges grown out of shape, trees with dead branches, a patchy or sun-scorched lawn. Sometimes it’s an inherited or newly bought home; other times it’s a business’s outdoor area that nobody has looked after consistently.
The longer you wait, the harder the recovery: weeds take root, dead branches become dangerous and the lawn has to be relaid rather than regenerated.
First we clear, then we recover, then we care
We start with a site visit to separate what needs removing from what is worth saving: an olive tree, a hedge to reshape, a lawn that can be regenerated without starting from scratch. Then we work in stages: one-off clearing with the right machinery, remedial pruning, lawn regeneration or relaying and, where needed, new planting with species suited to Puglia’s climate.
Lawn recovery is one of the jobs we’re proudest to show: in our Before & After series you’ll find thin lawns brought back thick and even, through targeted work, professional products and regular maintenance.
Once the work is done, if you like, we can add the area to a maintenance plan so it doesn’t go back to how it was.
Before & after
Regenerating a tired lawn is the job we’re proudest to show: in our “Before & After” series you’ll find thin, yellowing lawns brought back thick and even, with professional products and regular maintenance.
The service, item by item.
Site visit and recovery plan
We assess the condition of plants, lawn, soil and systems, and suggest what to remove, what to recover and in what order.
One-off clearing
Removal of brambles, weeds, dead branches and green waste, even over large areas, with suitable machinery.
Tree and hedge recovery
Remedial and reshaping pruning to bring the plants worth keeping back to health and into shape.
Lawn regeneration
Aeration, overseeding, feeding and properly calibrated watering; where the lawn can’t be saved, seeding or turf.
New planting
Trees, hedges and flower beds with hardy Mediterranean species, to complete the restored space.
Collection and disposal
All waste material is collected and disposed of in line with regulations: the area is left clean.

Restoration: frequently asked questions
Can't find the answer? Call us or message us on WhatsApp.
Message us on WhatsAppIs it better to recover the garden or redo it from scratch?
It depends on what’s there. Trees and hedges can often be saved with targeted pruning, and a thin lawn can be regenerated without relaying it. After the site visit we’ll tell you clearly what’s worth recovering and what isn’t.
My lawn turns yellow in summer: does it need relaying?
Not always. It’s often down to compacted soil, uneven watering, mowing too short or grass species that don’t cope well with heat. With aeration, soil improvement and overseeding the existing lawn can be recovered; if the seed mix can’t handle the summers, we look at better-suited species.
Do you also restore green spaces for businesses and hospitality venues?
Yes: forecourts, flower beds and lawns for shops, hotels and holiday accommodation. We organise the work in stages and at the least disruptive times, and can then look after the area with a maintenance contract.
How long does it take?
A one-off clean-up can take one or a few days; fully recovering a lawn takes a few weeks, the time it needs for the grass to thicken. We give you realistic timings in the quote.
