Land clearing and maintenance
A plot next to your house, a small olive grove, an almond orchard or a patch of land in the countryside: if it isn’t looked after, within a few weeks the grass grows tall and by early summer it dries out. Cesarino Giardini takes care of maintaining small plots of land, with a tractor, flail mower and professional equipment.
We clear, mulch and work the soil at the right times of year, so your plot stays tidy, safer and ready for the season’s work.
Tall grass, brambles and fire risk
In Puglia wild grass grows quickly with the spring rains and dries out with the first heat. Uncultivated land soon becomes a tangle of dry grass and brambles: unsightly, awkward to walk through and, above all, a fire risk in the summer months.
Every year, during the hot season, the Region and local councils ask owners to keep their land clear precisely to prevent wildfires. Without the right machinery it is hard, slow work.
Scheduled visits, with the right machinery
We use a tractor and flail mower on open ground and brushcutters along dry-stone walls, fences and around tree trunks, where large machinery can't reach. Where needed, we work the soil between the trees to leave it clean and even.
We usually recommend at least one visit in spring, when the grass is at its peak growth, and one in early summer, before the highest-risk period. We can put them on a fixed schedule, so you don't have to remember.
Tractor and flail mower, even among the olive trees
Every year, between spring and early summer, we clear land and plots overrun by tall grass: mulching with the tractor, finishing along walls and trunks, soil worked between the trees. Tidy and safe before the heat arrives.

Land: frequently asked questions
Can't find the answer? Call us or message us on WhatsApp.
Message us on WhatsAppWhen is the best time to clear land?
In spring, when the grass is in full growth, and in early summer, before the period of highest wildfire risk. Land with a lot of grass may need an extra visit.
Do you also work on small or hard-to-reach plots?
Yes. For small plots or narrow access we use more compact machinery and brushcutters; in the quote form you can tell us how to reach the land.
Do you also clear between olive and fruit trees?
Yes, we mulch and work the soil between the rows and around the trunks too, taking care not to damage the plants.
The land is far from where I live: do I need to be there?
Not necessarily. If access is open or agreed in advance, we can do the work while you're away and send you an update when it's done.
