Cesarino Giardini carries out plant health treatments on trees, palms, shrubs, hedges and lawns, for private clients, businesses and hospitality venues.
We hold a plant protection products licence, the qualification required to buy and use professional plant protection products: we use them only when needed, at the correct doses and with due precautions for people and animals.
Plants that are struggling, and nobody knows why
Pests such as scale insects and aphids, fungal diseases encouraged by humidity, insects that attack palms: in Puglia the mild climate lets problems develop for much of the year. They’re often noticed late, when the plant is already weakened.
DIY, with the wrong products or guesswork doses, risks not solving the problem, damaging the plant or creating hazards for whoever uses the garden.
Diagnosis, the right product, the right time
Every treatment starts with careful observation of the plant: symptoms, affected parts, soil and irrigation conditions. Many problems can be solved simply by adjusting care (water, pruning, feeding), so treatment becomes the last resort, not the first.
When it’s needed, we choose authorised products suited to the species and the problem, and treat at the most effective moment, respecting the re-entry times for treated areas. For businesses and hospitality venues we schedule treatments at agreed times, so as not to disturb customers and guests.
For olive trees and other plants subject to measures against Xylella fastidiosa, we follow the plant health guidelines of the Puglia Region.

By law, professional plant protection products can only be bought and used by people with the appropriate qualification. We have it: a guarantee that treatments are carried out with the right products, at the correct doses and safely.
Are treatments dangerous for children and animals?
We use authorised products and always tell you how long to keep away from the treated area. Where possible we prefer low-impact solutions and targeted treatment of only the affected plants.
Do you treat palms too?
Yes: we check the condition of palms, carry out preventive and curative treatments and, if needed, clear dead fronds, including at height, using tree climbing (rope access) or an aerial work platform.
Do you also carry out treatments for businesses and hospitality venues?
Yes, including as part of maintenance contracts: we schedule the work at agreed times so as not to disturb customers and guests.
